OppCharge

OppCharge Communication Control Unit
The onboard ECU is specifically designed to manage automated OppCharge fast-charging operations for electric buses.
It interfaces directly with the inverted pantograph, communication antenna (Wi-Fi), and the Battery Management System (BMS) to ensure safe, efficient, and fully automated charging sequences.
Acting as the central intelligence of the OppCharge process, the unit handles all command and control signals exchanged between the vehicle and the charging infrastructure, coordinating the entire charging cycle — from connection detection to charge completion.
When integrated with the TEQ CCS ECU, it ensures optimized battery management and interoperability across different charging systems, providing a unified, reliable communication hub between the vehicle, the pantograph, and the charging station.
